About
Why is this survey necessary?
We administer this survey every year to all students and alumni. Many of the survey items are
for the Annual Report required by the APA Committee on Accreditation.
The survey also allows the Psychology faculty to:
- track current students' progress through the program,
- see how well the program has prepared alumni for meeting their professional goals,
- evaluate how well the program meets its stated goals,
- and get student feedback about the program.
In order to get the best representation of students and alumni, the Psychology Department makes every effort to get 100% participation. All current students are required to complete this survey, and participation of our alumni is completely voluntary. This information is important to ongoing program evaluation and feedback efforts and helps the program to maintain APA accreditation.
Confidentiality
This survey has 2 components: the Program Survey and the Satisfaction Survey.
Program Survey
- not confidential.
- information is used to track student and alumni milestones.
Satisfaction Survey
- COMPLETELY CONFIDENTIAL, but we do keep track of one piece of data: whether or not the survey has been completed.
- responses CANNOT be linked back to an individual, so we encourage you to be candid in your remarks and specific with respect to suggestions and comments.
How Long Will it Take?
It shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes to complete both the Program Survey and the Satisfaction Survey. You'll probably need a copy of your CV to complete some of the items, so you might want to have that ready before you start. You can save your progress at the end of each survey page and come back to finish it later without losing your progress. Click here to start the survey!
